The authority of Jesus Christ is unquestionable by those who believe in the Bible. He stated many times that His Father gave Him authority (See John 3:35 and 7:29). All things were delivered into His hand (Luke 10:22). He ordained and gave His apostles authority (Mark 3:14). He was a high priest after the order of Melchizedek (Hebrews 5: 9-10). He states that He has the authority (D&C 1:6).
